This bill requires the Comptroller General (head of the Government Accountability Office) to conduct a study of federal cybersecurity assistance programs available to small businesses. The study will assess what federal initiatives, resources, and tools exist to help small businesses identify cyber risks, prepare for attacks, and recover from incidents, as well as evaluate their effectiveness, awareness, and coordination. The Comptroller General must report findings and recommendations to the House and Senate Small Business committees.
