Summary
This bill directs the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) to revise ATF Form 4473 to more clearly explain exceptions for firearm eligibility when a conviction has been pardoned, expunged, set aside, or rights have been restored. It also requires a joint review by the Comptroller General, Attorney General, and ATF Director to examine cases where individuals may have been unjustly charged with making false statements on the form regarding prior convictions.
