This bill amends the Social Security Act to require a 120-day waiting period between when the Social Security Administration notifies a beneficiary of an overpayment and when it may begin recovering that overpayment. The bill applies to both Social Security retirement and disability benefits (Title II) and Supplemental Security Income (Title XVI).
