Official CRS summary

This bill requires each Member of Congress and the President and Vice President to complete a program of training in handling and safeguarding classified information. Specifically, (1) the House Committee on House Administration and the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration must issue regulations to require each Member of the House and Senate to complete such training; and (2) the Office of Personnel Management must designate an appropriate federal agency or department to develop and provide to the President and Vice President such training.
