This bill prohibits the operation of certain connected vehicles on Department of Defense property and military installations. The Secretary of Defense must establish and annually review a list of prohibited connected vehicles that are designed, developed, manufactured, or supplied by foreign entities of concern and pose an undue or unacceptable risk to national security. Connected vehicles are defined as automotive vehicles with networked hardware and software capable of wireless communication, geolocation, remote access, or software updates.
