Summary
This bill amends the rural surface transportation grant program to expand eligibility for funding to include projects on farm-to-market roads in high-agricultural-production counties. It defines 'covered counties' as those with at least $1 billion in annual gross agricultural production value and at least $500,000 in agricultural production per square mile, and reserves 10 percent of annual program funding for grants on farm-to-market roads in these counties. The Secretary of Transportation, in consultation with the Secretary of Agriculture, is directed to create and annually update a list of eligible covered counties.
