The Keep Kids Covered Act amends Medicaid and the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) to extend continuous eligibility for children. It requires states to maintain coverage for newborns deemed eligible until age 6 (instead of age 1) and extends continuous eligibility for children ages 6–18 from 12 months to 24 months.
