The Litigation Transparency Act of 2024 amends federal civil procedure law to require parties and their attorneys to disclose the identity of third-party beneficiaries who have a financial stake in the outcome of a lawsuit, and to produce any agreements creating such contingent rights. The disclosure must be made within 10 days of executing the relevant agreement or when filing the action, whichever is later. The requirement does not apply to standard loan repayment, interest-bearing loans up to specified rates, or attorney's fee reimbursements.
