Summary
This bill amends the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act to require each state workforce development board to include at least one representative of youth (ages 16–24 who are disconnected from school and work, or who have completed youth workforce programs) and at least one representative from a youth-serving nonprofit organization. The bill also establishes a standing youth workforce committee within each state board to provide recommendations on youth workforce investment activities.
