The Stand Strong Falls Prevention Act amends the Older Americans Act to establish an Advisory Committee on Falls Prevention within the Administration on Aging. The committee, composed of federal agency representatives and non-federal experts, would develop and maintain a national falls prevention plan, assess federal falls prevention efforts and programs, and make recommendations for coordinating and improving these initiatives. The committee would also recommend pilot or demonstration programs under Medicare to test coverage of home modifications and evidence-based falls prevention services.
