This bill amends the National Child Protection Act of 1993 to expand the definition of individuals eligible for background checks. It allows businesses and organizations serving vulnerable populations to request background checks not only for their direct employees and volunteers, but also for contractors, employees of contractors, and individuals licensed or certified by those organizations to provide care.
