This bill codifies Executive Order 14115, which imposes sanctions on persons undermining peace, security, and stability in the West Bank. The sanctions remain in effect unless the President notifies Congress that a sanctioned person has ceased the sanctionable activity or taken significant verifiable steps toward stopping it, and has provided reliable assurances against future engagement in such activity. The President must provide at least 15 days' notice before terminating sanctions, or as soon as practicable (within 3 business days) in exigent circumstances.
