Official CRS summary

This resolution designates June 8, 2023, as National Seersucker Day. The resolution also designates Seersucker Thursday and Seersucker Appreciation Month. Further, the resolution (1) recognizes the contributions of the hard-working people of the United States through the wearing of seersucker, the warm weather clothing known as the working person's uniform; and (2) encourages local governments to partner with local organizations and other members of the clothing industries and enthusiasts to promote the wearing of seersucker.
