This resolution expresses the sense of the Senate that the United States must take steps to protect the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency and maintain its position as a key player in the global financial system, monitor and counter China's efforts to undermine the U.S. dollar as the world's reserve currency, strengthen its economic ties with critical regions in order to provide an alternative to Chinese capital, and work with allies to promote economic policies that ensure growth and stability across developing countries.
