This resolution designates June 2024 as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Month and June 27, 2024, as National Post-Traumatic Stress Awareness Day. The resolution also supports the efforts of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Department of Defense (DOD), and the medical community to educate people about the causes, symptoms, and treatment of post-traumatic stress. Additionally, it supports efforts by the VA and DOD to foster cultural change around post-traumatic stress.
