Summary
This bill requires the Secretary of Defense to restore press access to the Pentagon to levels that existed on May 22, 2025, including access to the Correspondents' Corridor and other designated press spaces, and to allow credentialed journalists unescorted access to areas previously accessible without an escort. The bill also mandates that the Pentagon Force Protection Agency conduct security reviews for press credentials without political influence, and prohibits future changes to press access policies without prior consultation with the House and Senate Armed Services Committees.
