This bill amends the Internal Revenue Code to establish additional reporting requirements for tax-exempt hospital organizations. All tax-exempt hospitals must report on their community health needs assessments, audited financial statements, financial assistance provided, and applications for financial assistance. Large hospitals must additionally report on their top health priorities and spending on quality improvement and nonclinical programs, while high-revenue hospitals must report on advertising costs, health service line revenues and costs, and participation in the federal 340B drug discount program.
