Summary
This bill amends the Higher Education Act of 1965 to delay until July 1, 2030 (instead of July 1, 2026) the termination of Federal Direct PLUS loan authority and the implementation of loan limits for graduate and professional students at certain institutions. The delay applies to students enrolled at health professions schools, institutions offering health professions or nursing programs, that are located within 100 miles of a health professional shortage area or medically underserved community.
