Summary
This bill amends the Higher Education Act to increase the annual and aggregate borrowing limits for Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans available to graduate and professional students. Beginning July 1, 2026, the maximum annual loan amount would increase to $50,000 per academic year, and the maximum aggregate amount would increase to $200,000 (in addition to undergraduate borrowing).
