The National Right-to-Work Act amends the National Labor Relations Act and the Railway Labor Act to prohibit union security agreements that require employees to pay union dues or fees as a condition of employment. The bill removes provisions that currently allow unions and employers to negotiate agreements requiring all workers in a bargaining unit to contribute to union representation, whether or not they choose to join the union. It also eliminates similar provisions in railway labor agreements.
