The Deafblind DATA Act requires the Bureau of the Census to report on the feasibility of collecting and publishing data on individuals who experience combined hearing and vision loss. Beginning in 2026, the Census Bureau must annually publish a table cross-referencing American Community Survey responses to identify deafblind individuals, including their demographic and economic characteristics by state, while protecting personal privacy.
