Summary
The STRIVE Act of 2025 amends veterans' healthcare law to prohibit the Department of Veterans Affairs from collecting copayments from veterans more than two years after they received hospital care or medical services if the VA failed to provide timely notice of the copayment or failed to notify the veteran that their total copayment obligation exceeded $2,000. The bill authorizes the VA Secretary to waive copayment requirements at their discretion and adjusts the $2,000 threshold annually for inflation. The bill also extends a deadline related to pension payment limits from November 30, 2031 to February 29, 2032.
