The Modular Housing Production Act requires the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to review Federal Housing Administration (FHA) construction financing programs to identify barriers to modular home development and report findings within one year. The Secretary must then initiate a rulemaking within 120 days to examine alternative draw schedules for construction loans to modular and manufactured home developers. The bill also authorizes the Secretary to award grants to study the design and feasibility of a standardized uniform commercial code for modular homes.
