Summary
This bill amends the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 to establish federal standards for online and delivery services used by retailers participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). The bill requires the Food and Nutrition Service to develop standards addressing digital privacy, cybersecurity, and safe online platform use for SNAP participants, as well as standards for food delivery services that include fair working conditions and prevailing wages for delivery workers and food safety during transport. Retailers that offer online or delivery services must comply with these standards and submit compliance reports, with noncompliance resulting in loss of SNAP authorization.
