This bill amends the federal civil service pension law to prohibit Members of Congress convicted of certain serious crimes from receiving congressional pension benefits. The prohibited offenses include sexual assault, crimes of violence, bribery, embezzlement, election fraud, mail fraud, and obstruction of justice committed during congressional service. The bill also prohibits pension payments to Members found by their respective chamber to have engaged in sexual conduct with subordinate staff members.
