The bill mandates that agencies create accessible digital and in-person reporting mechanisms to gather information on the frequency, type, location, and time of harassment incidents, as well as demographic information of affected passengers and the actual or perceived characteristics that may have motivated the incidents. Agencies must conduct outreach in multiple languages, publish collected data (excluding personally identifiable information) on public websites, and establish protocols for responding to harassment reports. The bill also requires this harassment data to be reported to the National Transit Database.
