This bill requires the Secretary of Commerce to develop standardized geospatial data on fishing restrictions, recreational vessel use, and access to federal waters in the exclusive economic zone, and to publish this data on a publicly accessible website within four years. The Secretary must update the data at least twice yearly, ensure it is findable and accessible, and establish a public comment process. The bill excludes sensitive information such as archaeological resources and commercial fishing proprietary data, and does not apply to tribal waters or usual and accustomed fishing areas.
