This bill authorizes the Secretary of Agriculture to establish a grant program providing funding to states, territories, and Indian tribes to address PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination on agricultural land. Eligible governments may use grants for purposes including monitoring health effects, compensating farmers for contaminated land or products, funding equipment and infrastructure improvements, providing financial assistance, conducting research on remediation and food safety, and developing educational programs. The bill authorizes $500 million in appropriations for fiscal years 2026–2029 and requires at least 30 percent of annual funding to go to smaller jurisdictions with populations under 3 million.
