Summary
This bill amends the Higher Education Act to require the Secretary of Education to identify and prioritize program reviews of institutions that disburse federal student aid to applicants whose FAFSA applications show reasonable suspicion of identity fraud, unless the institution can demonstrate it verified the student's identity through in-person or live audiovisual verification before disbursement. The identification of such institutions may inform audits, investigations, and other oversight activities, but does not by itself constitute a finding of non-compliance.
