This bill directs the Secretary of the Interior to establish the National Wildlife Refuge System Invasive Species Strike Team Program within the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. The program would create at least one regional invasive species strike team trained in early detection and rapid response to identify and manage invasive species on and adjacent to National Wildlife Refuge lands. The bill authorizes the Secretary to provide financial and technical assistance to partners, coordinate with federal, state, tribal, and local governments, and submit progress reports to Congress. The program is authorized $15 million annually for fiscal years 2026 through 2030.
