Summary
This bill expands expedited removal procedures for certain noncitizens by authorizing the Department of Homeland Security to conduct expedited removal proceedings for incarcerated aliens who are members of criminal gangs, members of foreign terrorist organizations, or have been convicted of specified crimes including felonies, crimes against vulnerable groups, sexual offenses, domestic violence, and crimes against children. The bill also mandates detention without bond for certain deportable or inadmissible aliens who are gang members, members of transnational criminal organizations, or have been convicted of enumerated offenses.
