Summary
This bill directs the Secretary of Defense to submit a report to Congress within 120 days assessing workforce, readiness, and policy challenges in military child care and child development centers. The report must analyze the current workforce composition (including the percentage of military spouses), assess the feasibility of transferring licenses across duty stations, evaluate vacancy rates and unmet capacity, and recommend incentives to attract and retain military spouses in child care positions.
