This bill establishes a federal grant program through the Department of Agriculture to help states, territories, and Indian tribes address PFAS (perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances) contamination on agricultural land. Eligible governments can use grants to monitor health effects, compensate farmers for contaminated land or products, fund equipment and infrastructure for affected farms, provide financial assistance to farmers, conduct research on remediation and food safety, and develop educational programs. The bill authorizes $500 million in funding for fiscal years 2026–2030 and requires at least 30 percent of annual funding to go to smaller jurisdictions with populations under 3 million.
